Split, the Mac Window Manager
A menu-bar utility that arranges Mac windows with shortcuts, drag-to-snap zones, adjustable ratios, and linked resizing.
Field notes
The utility stays in the menu bar rather than the Dock and uses Accessibility access to perform requested window actions. Its layout model covers both left-right and top-bottom pairings, with a shared divider that keeps the two windows connected during resizing. The page also describes Option–Tab navigation through stacked windows and a one-click swap that preserves the current split. A license activates one Mac at a time and can be moved to a replacement.
