The documented workflow stores devices, notifications, and deliveries as rows in the application’s Postgres database, then uses a server-side notify() call to route delivery by device provider. The example configures a Drizzle adapter, web-push VAPID credentials, and a session function. Supported framework mounts include Next.js, TanStack Start, Express, Hono, NestJS, and node:http; the optional queue adds retries and backoff.
