Counter Services, a Clerk for Papers
A local document counter proposes turning notices, civic papers, bulletins, bids, invoices, and scans into short cards or clean documents.
Field notes
The project divides its proposed work into four public-facing windows: CounterTalk for notices, CounterPolitics for races and civic events, CounterFaith for congregation bulletins, and CounterDoc for bids, invoices, and scans. Public items are meant to be reduced to forty words covering what, when, and where, while document answers should quote the source page. The site says private-counter papers will remain outside the public windows, but the processing feeds are not yet demonstrated on the homepage.
