Know Your Basket combines a shared list with a stated price-integrity rule: missing prices remain blank rather than being estimated. Its described sync model queues edits without a connection and reconciles them when signal returns, while check-offs propagate across the household. The project is currently undergoing a two-week test in a Cape Town household, and the page identifies Checkers, Shoprite, and Pick n Pay as its named grocery sources.
