ScrobbleWall turns listening history into wallpaper
A free Windows app uses Last.fm listening data to generate album collages, band and genre word clouds, listening clocks, and other desktop wallpapers.
Field notes
ScrobbleWall converts Last.fm history into selectable wallpaper views rather than leaving the data in a profile page. Its listening clock maps the last 3,000 plays across 24 hourly bars, while collage layouts range from one to 32 albums. A portable build can run from a USB stick without administrator rights, and the page says the app uses no account, analytics, or telemetry. It also supports separate wallpaper choices for multiple displays and renders its interface and wallpaper text in 21 languages.
