Players construct a single orthogonal path across a board, using row and column counts alongside arrows, four-way markers, and numbered squares to constrain the route. The interface supports working backward from the treasure, marking squares as personal notes, and resuming with both progress and time preserved per puzzle. A zen mode hides the timer without stopping it, while drawing through a note clears that note.
