terminalika: a retro game for the AI-agent wait
A terminal game launcher that pauses Snake, Tetris, Space Invaders, or Pong when an AI coding agent finishes or needs input.
Field notes
terminalika runs beside a coding agent rather than replacing or proxying it. The page says it tails session files for native integrations and accepts a terminalika notify hook for Cursor CLI and other tools. Its event model is intentionally narrow: game input is paused only when the agent finishes or requests human input, with identical events within three seconds deduplicated. The project also documents tmux, zellij, Windows, configuration, terminal key-release behavior, and development paths.
