내만갯벌, a lotus farm on former tidal-flat soil
A Siheung farm growing lotus root, lotus leaves, flowers, seeds, and related foods from its own fields and processing plant.
Field notes
The farm separates fields for roots and leaves because their water-management needs differ, then harvests the above-water crop in summer and digs roots from late August through the following April. Its catalog spans fresh, frozen, dried, powdered, and prepared products, including 16 kg and 20 kg wholesale leaf orders. The review section reports 2,322 purchases over three years and deliberately says it includes unfavorable comments alongside praise.
