An open-source, self-hosted network monitor that identifies devices, tracks their presence, and alerts you when something changes.
Field notes
The monitor combines several discovery and fingerprinting methods, including mDNS, SSDP, HTTP banners, TCP fingerprints, vendor data, and passive DHCP clues, then proposes identity merges when randomized MACs or multiple addresses appear. Its example panel records device type, operating system, address, presence, and last-seen time across a 192.168.1.0/24 network. The page also describes review queues for unfamiliar devices and alerts for rogue DHCP, gateway changes, and newly answering services.
