Why it surfaced

EyePatch treats distraction as a problem to be interrupted, not negotiated with: block the sites, wait for an emailed key, then use that key once before the block conditions change. Its blunt “Gouge it out” language gives an otherwise familiar productivity tool an unusually forceful personality.
