Grzybnik, a mushroom forecast for Polish forests
Enter a place and get a ranked map of nearby forest areas, with separate outlooks for 14 mushroom species grouped into nine categories.
Field notes
The service evaluates 23,298 forest units across Poland using habitat descriptions, soil-water estimates, ground temperature, seasonal windows, and host-tree requirements. It distinguishes species rather than treating “mushrooms” as one category: the homepage gives examples such as birch-dependent bolete relatives and different age preferences for boletes, slippery jacks, and saffron milk caps. Its score is capped at 82, reserving the remaining range for conditions the model cannot observe.
