The service combines a free digital version with a $44.99 printed hardback, allowing the maker to send the digital book immediately while the physical copy is posted. Redemption is deliberately treated as an accountable event: the recipient uses a code, the promise is cancelled with a postmark, and the printed reverse records signatures and dates. The homepage also exposes a library of 90 examples, ranging from Sunday dinner and breakfast in bed to a single-use “You were right.”
