Public Eye Supply Co. Makes Surveillance Awkward
A civic-comedy merchandise project built around official-looking signs, public noticing, and a planned Department of Public Noticing storefront.
Field notes
The project divides its planned work into a paid “property room” and a free “desk.” The property room reserves five sign formats—badge, thought bubble, speech bubble, directional arrow, and pointing hand—but marks each production proof as pending and not yet for sale. The free desk is intended to publish printable signs, a plain-language guide to plate readers, and permission-based methods for requesting records or attending meetings; all three resources are currently labeled in development.
