The Unlock Box: mysteries in sealed envelopes
A browser-based mystery experience built for two people, with detective-style documents, coded envelopes, and a free first case.
Field notes
The experience presents evidence in successive batches rather than as a conventional quiz: players inspect documents, construct a timeline, and derive the code that opens the next envelope. Its first case, Last Crush, places a 1989 Hill Country winery murder inside a fermentation tank and uses artifacts such as a phone bill, sheriff’s report, torn note, photographs, and inventory numbers. The homepage says the browser version needs no printing, installation, or account.
