Thingway describes a single-file workspace for revision-heavy writing rather than a folder of increasingly desperate duplicate drafts. Its examples show alternate passages held in place, a block bank for saving reusable text or structured material, and character records that connect names, aliases, and pronouns. The homepage also demonstrates several visual themes and says the planned phone app can handle documents up to one million words. Current access appears limited to a waitlist.
