Vibrate — A Chess Clock You Can Feel

chessagenttimer.space Observed source
Editorial interest 79/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A haptic time-awareness companion for bullet chess that turns dwindling clock time into pulses, taps, and escalating urgency.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-02 issue.

Field notes

The prototype translates bullet-chess time pressure into selectable haptic patterns, with a phone paired to a browser-based control room. Its signal vocabulary changes across four clock bands, from a restrained “lub–dub” above 30 seconds to a frantic final scramble under five. The page also exposes transport and packet diagnostics, and it stops feedback when packets become stale or invalid. Testing is confined to synthetic, local, off-platform, or computer games rather than approved live play against human Lichess opponents.
