Why it surfaced

Darth Merder has a full origin crawl, character dossier, surveillance files, fake corporate metrics, audio, selectable blade colours, and a game called “Swat the Stormshit.” The central joke is wonderfully sustained: everyone knows what his name means, and nobody has the courage—or kindness—to tell him.
