DLA Match, a Canine Donor Network
A nonprofit project building a consent-based registry to help veterinary transplant teams find compatible canine stem-cell donors.
Field notes
The proposed registry records four-locus, eight-call DLA profiles alongside laboratory provenance, confidence, and source-document state. Its matching rules compare unordered allele multisets and deliberately route missing or uncertain calls to review rather than labeling them mismatches. The synthetic example displays three active consented candidates, each with an 8-of-8 match, while the project says real access would be limited to approved organizations and audited for clinical coordination.
