Istor organizes PDFs, web pages, and plain notes into a local library, then applies full-text or semantic search before producing an answer with passage-level citations. Its examples show claims tied to pages 14 and 17 of a field survey report, while a question unsupported by the library receives an explicit no-answer response. The page also describes duplicate detection, local model selection, and network activity limited to fetches initiated by the user.
