KartuLat, for Georgian Written in Latin Letters
A multilingual tool that converts Georgian typed in Latin characters into Georgian script and translates it for readers of 11 languages.
Field notes
KartuLat separates transliteration from translation: users can turn Latin-character Georgian into Georgian script, or convert Georgian text back into Latin characters, then copy either result. The interface lists 11 target languages and includes a keyboard shortcut for submitting text. The page also describes phone-specific access, including Safari instructions for adding the site to an iPhone or iPad home screen and an Android app with offline mode, although the visible translation status currently says the service is temporarily unavailable.
