A working prototype for enrolling autonomous machines, verifying their cryptographic identities, and recording lifecycle events.
Field notes
The prototype separates a manufacturer's genesis record from later lifecycle events, with the serial number hashed before publication and the passport anchored to a machine's public key. Browser WebCrypto generates Ed25519 or P-256 keys, while verification signs a random nonce to test key possession. Its schema also records operating details such as autonomy mode, terrain authority, balance behavior, payloads, and safety-related failure conditions, making the proposal more concrete than a generic identity landing page.
