Field notes
The tracker uses release-week cohorts defined by nearby launch dates and similar prices, then scores review counts on a log scale using median absolute deviation rather than ordinary standard deviation. Its revenue estimate deliberately ignores Steam's cut, refunds, and discounts, while a separate effort-per-dollar field divides that estimate by a coarse reproduction-time bucket. Filters bracket the displayed rows by estimated gross revenue, and the page exposes definitions for the table's analytical fields.
