Field notes

Pocket Oracle keeps its oracle material on the device rather than relying on an app or network connection. Its three modes cover the complete 1909 Rider–Waite–Smith tarot deck, 64 I Ching hexagrams, and 24 Elder Futhark runes. The daily result is derived from the date, remains fixed until midnight, and can be supplemented with additional draws. The hardware currently exists as early prototypes using off-the-shelf e-paper components and a 3D-printed case.
