Why it surfaced

W4LIVE is interesting less as a functioning channel than as a declaration of editorial intent. It specifies time zones, agendas, source links, captions, transcripts, correction records, and a refusal to treat live video as an excuse to lower verification standards—while plainly admitting that the continuous channel and public player do not yet exist.
