ASolution’s bank-statement converter refuses to guess

A browser-based tool turns text-based bank-statement PDFs into CSV without sending the file to a server.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-03 issue.

Field notes

The workflow is intentionally narrow: it accepts selectable-text statements with a running-balance column, then produces fields for date, description, signed amount, and balance. A reconciliation gate checks each transaction and compares the final total with the closing balance; failures are shown instead of exported. Scanned or photographed documents are excluded because the page says supporting them would require server-side OCR. The page also claims support for multi-page files and US and European number formats.
