Changup Radar, the Franchise Contract Interrogator
A Korean tool that checks franchise brands against public data and estimates whether a proposed shop might actually make money.
Field notes
The calculator separates initial capital from recurring expenses and includes deposit, key money, rent, wages, owner salary, card fees, taxes, emergency funds, and a six-month operating reserve. It presents three sales cases rather than a single forecast, then flags whether the user has enough cash and whether the ordinary case is profitable. The visible example uses Mega MGC Coffee and reports a 3.7 million won monthly break-even sales figure, while reminding users to verify rent, goodwill, required purchases, and royalties with the franchisor.
