An interactive, procedurally drawn beige-box computer that boots to a DOS prompt and runs natively ported DOS games inside a simulated CRT.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-03 issue.

Field notes

The machine combines a procedural case renderer with a simulated CRT whose scanlines, phosphor persistence, aperture grille, bloom, and coloured spill are calculated rather than supplied as raster art. Its DOS prompt opens a runtime-fetched catalogue; installed games are verified with SHA-256 and then run without a network connection. The 0.3 beta currently lists one game, and the site identifies macOS as the only platform working end to end while Linux and Windows remain open debugging targets.
