Field notes

The app combines airport lookup with a globe engine that has no fixed north-south axis, allowing users to drag continuously across either pole. Routes can include unlimited double-tapped waypoints, with each leg labeled by distance and initial bearing and each waypoint showing weather, temperature, and wind in knots. A separate Create Map function converts the globe view into a flat image suitable for sharing, while route history stores previous journeys on the device.
