IDLI offers several routes into the same research problem: visitors can start with a language, a writing script, a subject category, or a region, then inspect digital-support coverage. Its comparison tools are designed for up to five languages or scripts at once, while the uneven-digitization filter highlights gaps across selected sources. The surrounding community portal adds listings for opportunities, events, experts, and factoids, extending the site beyond a bare index.
