KOOL Tool describes a water-first sequence: elevation data establishes landform and catchments, hydrology estimates runoff and infiltration, and the resulting works are sized against the water feeding them. The stated deliverables go beyond general recommendations, including setting-out coordinates, earthworks volumes, costs, and a phased build order. Kenzugi says the approach follows the Regrarians Scale of Permanence and is informed by a 200-hectare hub at Nyeri, Kenya, where it says the methods have been built on its own ground.
