Field notes
MarchingAnts assigns four keyboard shortcuts to the same screen-selection gesture: Answer, Explain, Find, and Text. The page says the selected region is sent directly to a user-chosen Claude, Gemini, or GPT provider, with the provider billing the user when they bring their own key. The beta requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon and is approximately 0.5 MB; its download instructions note that it is signed but not yet notarized.
