Markreply presents a two-track deployment model: a managed cloud account or an AGPLv3 Docker container operated on the user's own server. The integration is intentionally small—a single HTMX snippet followed by CSS-variable theming—and the page lists Astro, Hugo, Next.js, WordPress, and plain HTML5 as targets. Its stated architecture uses Axum and SQLite for the API, Valkey for queued email alerts, and JWT-based administration for comment moderation.
