Three Presses, One Watershed
A nonprofit publishing division with three imprints for books rooted in northwest Ohio, the Maumee River valley, and the western Lake Erie basin.
Field notes
The publishing division separates its work into River Craft Press for nonfiction, Black Swamp Press for literary fiction and poetry, and Great Lakes Books for young readers. The page says its material can begin with recorded interviews, photographs, testimony, or research gathered through the Collective’s other programs. It also sets out a deliberately small operating model: one to three titles annually at first, expanding toward six to eight, with short print runs and print-on-demand for older titles.
