Fineprint Wants You to See the Catch Before You Agree
Fineprint turns privacy policies, terms pages, and cookie notices into quoted explanations of what you accept and what it may cost you.
Field notes
Fineprint organizes policy reading around two outputs: ordinary-language statements about what an agreement covers and quoted clauses that may create consequences for privacy, money, or court access. Its directory shows document coverage and grades, including three of three documents graded for Adobe, Airbnb, Amazon, and Apple, while Coinbase and Comcast remain ungraded. The site also provides a TV-and-console workflow for cases where a user cannot easily copy the policy URL.
