ShootWindow lets a photographer search any town, select a condition recipe, and inspect forecast windows calculated for the exact coordinates. Its rules are explicit: a Milky Way window, for example, requires the galactic core above 15 degrees, astronomical darkness, limited moonlight, and cloud below 25 percent. The page says the first three days use hourly detail, while later windows are provisional and rechecked every six hours.
