Midjourney Viewer works from the folder where Obsidian users keep downloaded images, indexing thumbnails and extracting full prompts from PNG metadata rather than relying on truncated filenames. The homepage describes a three-step workflow: install from Obsidian’s Community plugins browser, choose a downloads folder, then search or embed galleries in notes. Search accepts Midjourney-style terms such as "--ar 16:9" and "city -neon," and the project is presented as offline, MIT licensed, and linked to GitHub.
