The cap starts its timer only after a deliberate push-and-turn closure, using a quarter-second agreement between a switch and magnet to reject accidental bumps. Its e-paper display is described as retaining the count without power, while a phone reads the count and dose log and applies the schedule. The examples span 12-hour antibiotics, daily tablets, weekly injections, and quarterly injectables, with timing windows specified for each.
