TreeScribe Puts the Breeding Trial on Every Tree’s Card
An offline-first iOS and Android app for collecting phenotype scores, notes, photos, harvest records, and centimeter-grade positions in perennial crop trials.
Field notes
TreeScribe imports trial layouts, plant identities, and trait definitions from a breeding program’s BrAPI-compatible database rather than requiring field teams to retype them. Its plant cards combine tag scanning, row or position lookup, trait-specific inputs, photos, notes, harvest records, and replant records. The page reports full-resolution capture up to 48 megapixels and describes an RTK workflow that averages readings over a known spot before accepting centimeter-level survey positions. Receiver support is being tested individually, including two Emlid models marked verified.
