A completed route matters only when it returns near its starting point: the site says open paths are saved, while closed loops color the surrounding street cells. Those cells can be reclaimed by another athlete on the same road. The public leaderboard separates solo runners from alliances and offers today, week, month, year, or custom ranking windows; the displayed crews range from one to twelve members.
