A participatory travel project asks people to photograph, tag, and pass along numbered BS Nelson cards wherever they take them.
Why it surfaced
BS Nelson turns a crude drawing into a deliberately low-stakes chain of custody: take him somewhere, document the sighting, then give him away. The site calls itself an “International Cultural Phenomenon” while admitting Nelson has “no known authority whatsoever”—a useful bit of provenance for an internet artifact that is still waiting on its gallery and expedition packs.
