CarScan, the OBD-II mechanic in your phone
A Russian-language car diagnostic app that reads OBD-II errors, displays live sensor data, and prepares a report for a mechanic.
Field notes
CarScan uses a separately purchased OBD-II adapter to retrieve fault codes and live vehicle data, then turns those readings into plain-language guidance and a report that can be sent to a workshop. The page cites 298 interpreted codes, 47 sensor parameters, four connection types—Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, and USB—and coverage beginning with 2001 model years. It also says the app records maximum and minimum readings during a trip and checks compatibility before attempting a service reset.
