MemeLab: An Epidemic Simulator in Your Browser
MemeLab models outbreaks as a deterministic SEIR cellular automaton, with selectable geometries, defenses, evolving strains, R₀ fitting, and CPU, WebAssembly, or WebGPU execution.
Field notes
The model treats each lattice cell as an individual and advances infection states in daily ticks, with contact structure determined by the selected geometry or a mean-field approximation. It includes five spatial modes, four configurable defenses, multi-strain mutation and selection, and an estimator that searches for parameters matching pasted case or death curves. Seeded permalinks preserve grid, disease, defense, theme, and speed settings for exact replay.
