Flundusi’s Fresco Workshop Notes
A Spanish-language field guide to fresco and mural painting, from lime mortars and wall preparation to pigments, workday limits, and conservation.
Field notes
The project organizes fresco practice as a sequence of material decisions rather than as a general art-history overview. Its visible notes cover wall moisture, lime putty, arriccio and intonaco, drawing transfer, pigment resistance to alkali, carbonation, and later retouching. It gives approximate working figures, including 1:3 lime-to-aggregate for arriccio with 2–4 mm grain and 1:2 for finer intonaco below 1 mm, while stressing that test panels and the behavior of the wall still matter.
