For the Record: nine stories, nine songs, no algorithm
A Collingwood storytelling night where nine people tell true personal stories and play one personally chosen song after each.
Field notes
The evening uses a fixed nine-story, nine-song sequence, with each storyteller choosing the track that follows their account. Its operating rules are unusually clear: phones stay in pockets, there is no shuffle or autoplay, and vinyl is used where possible. The page also supplies a print-ready A3 poster and a high-resolution JPG, supporting the organisers’ stated word-of-mouth approach. Food is available at Wheat, Wine & Whisky, the listed Collingwood venue.
