A keyless MCP server for turning llms.txt into usable documentation
llmstxtmcp.dev finds a site's llms.txt index, retrieves linked documentation as Markdown, and searches parsed sections for agents and developer tools.
Field notes
The service follows a deliberately bounded workflow: it checks candidate llms.txt locations, parses the index, then retrieves selected documentation pages as Markdown rather than crawling an entire site. Its page-level fallback chain includes content negotiation, alternate Markdown links, filename conventions, and limited HTML conversion. Search operates over indexes the server has already parsed, with headings weighted more heavily than link notes, while the homepage says the server retains only those parsed indexes.
