Month Zero proposes teams of four or five complementary people, gives them a shared startup problem, and asks them to ship proof in 30 days.
Field notes
Participants submit Working Profiles covering prior work, expertise, working style, and hours they can protect each week. The system then proposes a four- or five-person Circle and explains why the combination may work, after which the group selects an idea and records code, research, demos, users, revenue, or other proof over 30 days. The archive includes closed tests in trades and construction and food and hospitality, with findings that some proposed efficiency gains did not change demand.
