Random pair generator, with memory
A classroom-friendly pairing tool that rotates partners without repeats, while handling absences, odd-sized groups, and printable rounds.
Field notes
The tool uses a round-robin-style rotation rather than independently reshuffling names each time, so a recurring group can move through partner combinations without accidental repeats. It supports practical classroom exceptions: an absent participant can be removed for one round, two people can be kept apart, and an odd-sized group can produce either a three-person group or a solo participant. Printed rounds include a QR code for reopening the same class state.
