Abaco Zuzzurellone, the Italian vocabulary guessing game
A word game that turns Italian alphabetical order into a guessing challenge: propose words and learn whether the hidden word comes before or after them.
Field notes
The game uses alphabetical position as its only clue: each submitted word receives a before-or-after response, and the interface tracks the remaining interval plus an optimal-guess count. Its modes include a shared daily puzzle, unrestricted rounds, a computer-led search, and a three-minute challenge. The guide also explains how inflected forms such as “cani,” “mangiavamo,” and “bellissima” are handled, and the page links to the project’s GitHub source.
