Carmel Ridge Apiary: Four Honeys, One Ridge
A family-run apiary near Zikhron Ya'akov offering seasonal wildflower honey, beeswax goods, honey flights, and appointment-based hive visits.
Field notes
The apiary keeps its colonies on a limestone terrace rather than relocating them between crops, then labels each lot by bloom, pull date, and hive row. Its stated harvest sequence runs from January citrus through April wildflower and July thistle to a smaller September avocado pull. A separate wax room renders cappings and old comb into tapers, food wraps, and plain blocks. Hive mornings are small-group visits with veils supplied and closed-toe shoes required.
