The extension creates a temporary pairing code on the computer and opens a browser-based remote on the phone. The listed control surface extends beyond play and pause to search, suggested videos, playback speed, captions, fullscreen, live streams, and a sleep timer. The page says the relay carries commands and limited playback metadata, while Google credentials, cookies, passwords, watch history, and unrelated tabs remain on the computer.
